Director of Francophone Affairs:
The Director of Francophone Affairs ensures that all French-speaking Telfer students are equally represented in all events, workshops and activities. As Director of Francophone Affairs, you will be responsible for translating documents and correspondence, as well as leading the Semaine de la Francophonie, which consists of events in French.

Director of Fund Committees:
Responsibilities:

Coordinate fund committees for equity, which manage funds allocated to support student participation in paid events and case competitions.

Recruit and train committee members, ensuring they understand the funding objectives and criteria to make fair and transparent decisions.

Oversee the funding application process, providing support to students and ensuring that requests are reviewed effectively and equitably.

Collaborate with other departments or organizations to identify additional funding opportunities and maximize the impact of available funds.
Qualifications:

Experience or interest in fund management or grant processes, preferably in an educational or associative context.

Ability to lead and motivate a team of volunteers or committee members.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle funding requests fairly and effectively.

Understanding of issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and their importance in funding student activities.
Finance Portfolio
Junior Auditor (x2):

Completing club audits and giving feedback

Completing the Telfer Case Competition Committees' (TCCT), ENACTUS and ACE Audits and giving feedback

Internal Portfolio
First Year Representative (FYR) :
The First Year Representative (FYR) for the Telfer Students' Association (AETSA) is a dynamic role designed for two first-year students who are passionate about enhancing the student experience and representing the interests of AETSA to fellow first-year students. The FYR will have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of AETSA’s operations and contribute to the development of initiatives that benefit first-year students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Engagement:
Each month, the FYR will sit in on a different portfolio within AETSA to gain insight into various areas of the association’s work and contribute to diverse projects and discussions.
2. Planning and Hosting First-Year Rep Roundtables:
Organize and facilitate a roundtable discussion per semester for all the first-year representatives of Telfer Clubs. These roundtables will provide a platform for first-year students to share their experiences, and learn from each other.
3. Attendance at Bi-Weekly Meetings:
Attend bi-weekly AETSA meetings with VP Interna provide updates of their work and prepare any deliverables.
4. Promotion and Outreach:
Actively promote AETSA and its events to first-year students, ensuring they are aware of the association’s resources, activities, and opportunities for involvement.
