Daria Furtak

I am an active member of various clubs, including AETSA, JDC, JDCC, TCF, and the OUSC. As a third-year finance student with a deep interest in macroeconomics, financial markets, and corporate management, I aim to pursue a career in sell-side finance. My primary goal within AETSA is to organize events that enhance both your student experience and contribute to your professional growth. While most students associate my position solely with student appreciation days, I have also spearheaded the Professional Development Series and orchestrated collaborative events with various Telfer clubs that AETSA never partnered with previously. A fun fact about me is that I was born during the Canada Day fireworks. Some of my favorite movies include Mamma Mia, White Chicks, The Parent Trap, Tangled, and the Kingsman series. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, editing videos, and painting. I also cherish spending time with my best friends, brainstorming elaborate future travel plans, and conceptualizing business ideas that I hope to materialize someday.
